Why is Losing Pregnancy Weight So Hard?

0

Losing pregnancy weight can seem like an impossible task. After a woman has spent nine months carrying around this precious little life, she now has to start thinking about getting her body back in shape after the delivery. Thankfully, most women do what the doctor’s order and wait at least six weeks before beginning any kind of exercise regimen after giving birth. There are many different schools of thought on the best ways for a woman to lose weight after having a baby. A lot of it depends on what she was doing before she had the baby. If she had a sedentary lifestyle and never exercised at all, it is not a good idea for her to immediately start running around and trying to lose the weight quickly. Another consideration to make is whether or not the woman is breast-feeding. Obviously, she needs to maintain a very healthy diet if she’s going to be breast-feeding her baby. This means that no crash diets or anything out of the ordinary should be attempted in the way of dietary changes.
