Why is Lil Wayne releasing a rock album?
I don’t know why he is putting out a rock album….but back in the day people were always confused by Prince — well is he rock or is he R&B? I don’t think it matters, as far as genres go. If the music is good I will buy it, period. So if Lil Wayne wants to attempt rock, country, disco, etc. and I like it, that’s all that needs to be said. LOL. Whether you’re a lil wayne fan or not, doesn’t matter, I would focus less on genres because recently I heard a song with kanye and chris martin from cold play and it wasn’t half bad. I like it when music crosses over, sorry, but screw “categories” and “genres.” We don’t need em to define what we like. Let artists be free to create whatever they want, let the people decide if it’s any good!
