Hi there. I have tried letrozole and although I didnt get pregnant I can tell you that it is a much better choice than clomid. When I tried clomid I had major hot flashes, cramps, I was grouchy and it dried up ALL of my cervical mucus, I had next to nothing all cycle. Plus it can take up to 3 cycles for the effects of clomid to leave your body. For 3 months after I took the last pill I had very little cervical mucus during ovulation time. Letrozole however was great. I did feel a little warmer but no hot flashes. I only felt little twinges during ovulation time and it didnt dry up my CM at all. Letrozole leaves your body soon after taking the pills as well so no lingering effects.
