WHY IS LENT IMPORTANT?
Lent prepares us to CELEBRATE MORE FULLY the death and Resurrection of Jesus. For individuals and the community, it INTENSIFIES OUR CHRISTIANITY…giving us more HOPE: Christians strive to understand more deeply the Paschal Mystery. More FAITH: Christians try to strengthen and increase their faith and loyalty to Jesus. More LOVE: Through self-sacrifice and works of charity, Christians seeks to rise above self-love and follow the spirit of Jesus sacrifice. The Children s Choir will continue practicing every Sunday after CCD for 20 minutes. They sing on the third Sunday at the 11:00 am Children s Mass. We ask for your generosity, giving your sweet voice and time to the Lord. Today is Confessions for grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 at 9:15 am. Try to be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confession. Jo Ann Cotter and Francisco Barrientos are responsible for the Passion Play. Children who are going to be in this activity have to practice every week.
