Why is leather better than kydex or other synthetic materials?
Leather has been the material of choice for holsters for hundreds of years. Leather is a strong natural material that will not scratch or mar your gun. It is strong enough to retain its shape, support the gun properly, and protect the trigger guard, while still being supple enough to conform to the curves of your body and adapt to your use. Leather has a very rich and pleasant appearance and aroma. Leather allows you to truly appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into a hand-made holster. Is it a better material for a holster? We think so.
