Why is Kahootz 2.0 crashing on my IBM Thinkpad?
The current version of Kahootz 2.0 will cause some IBM Thinkpads to crash when opening an Xpression. This problem occurs due to an incompatability between the Thinkpad’s ATI video drivers and Kahootz’ Intel 3d renderer. You can solve this problem by disabling hardware acceleration in Kahootz 2.0. There are two ways you can force Kahootz 2.0 to run in software mode:. Via the Kahootz 2.0 Installer: Insert the installation disk and wait for the Installer to launch. The Installer should tell you that Kahootz 2.0 is already installed. Click on the button marked “Force software mode” then click on the button marked “Test system”.
