Why is job satisfaction important?
No matter what it is we do, we always do it better when we love what we do. If a person is in a job which he does not like or he is not happy doing chances are that he won’t put his best into it. This can cause a lot of problems both for the employer and the employee. Job satisfaction is not only important but imperative for a lot of reasons. Low job satisfaction can lead to a low morale which will cause the employee to work less and concentrate more on the negative aspects of his job. As a person the employee will feel depressed and this depression will spread through to his friends and family. People around him are likely to feel the frustration and may even have to bear the brunt of it from time to time. People who are not satisfied with their jobs can have major problems in their personal relationships. In many cases an unhappy worker may have marital problems and health problems caused by stress.
