Why is JHSecure being retired?

Although the JHSecure application that is built on the Cisco VPN 3000 product-line has been successful for many years here at Hopkins, Cisco stopped selling the products more than a year ago and began the process of phasing out support for the products last August. One of the areas where this lack of support was felt most keenly by Hopkins members was the lack of support from the vendor for clients using 64-bit Microsoft operating systems.
