Why is it that when segregation legally ended in America, African Americans began segregating themselves?
Ericktravel has the answer 100% correct. I am a southern, white American, and I consider myself a strong anti-racist. The whole question you posted makes me mad and sad at the same time. It’s unbelievable to me that white people can be so racist and think that they aren’t racist. Minorities in the United States have always been looked down upon and it’s high time that this sort of behavior comes to a halt. As white people, it is OUR responsibility to end racism not by asking the questions you posted, but by being able to answer them. I could’ve told you everything that ericktravel said.
