Why Is It That Teenagers Always Think Their Relationship Will Last During High School?
In high school, we think were grown up, we think just because some guy tells us he loves us, he really does. School is the perfect environment to think that, I mean not many high school kids have tested the boundary of not seeing their partner for more than 2 days. When you see someone every day, but only for a couple hours, its easy to seem perfect. Its not so much we believe it will work, as we want it to. My boyfriend told me forever, its been 6 months, and there are times i really do believe it, like i cant see a way for it not to work. But then sometimes (we never fight …. ever like not once in almost 7 months) it seems like, yes i love him but it might not last forever. Relationships start to last longer once your in high school, for most people. It gives them confidence.
