Why is it that most people visiting AO clinic with complex problems, end up getting operated?
Dr. R.A.S: Like I said before, AO means “Always Operate. Well, jokes apart, it doesn’t always happen. In fact as far as kids are concerned we try our level best to not operate, except in exceptional cases. But in certain cases we know that operation is the only way out, either because the injury cannot heal on its own or will take a long time to heal. Instead of putting plaster and waiting for 6 months, operation is always a better option. Like it is said plaster is a disaster, and plaster only has a 50-50 chance of healing, thus operation is a better option in that case. KPDC: What work are you doing, or plan to do for women in future? Dr. R.A.S: We plan to hold seminars in that area, related to medicine. We plan to teach women on what to do in cases of burns. Because due to kitchen work, etc there are a lot of cases of burns. Also on other topics like cancers, bone problems, etc we will educate women on what to do. Furthermore like I said before we will open up a hospital, which will
