I find it amusing that people are so scared of the individuals in life whom are so aware of the truth that it’s buried itself into their brains and driven them half-insane (not only psychopaths and schizophrenics either). It has a lot to do with fear, my friend. People are afraid of what they don’t understand. And because they feel they do not and cannot understand someone with a mental illness, they don’t even try. Perhaps this can explain part of the reason why people treat the mentally imbalanced the way they do, and perhaps it can also explain part of the reason why the mentally imbalanced tend to think that the people around them cannot and will not look at them in a positive light. As opposed to forever worrying what’s going on inside their head.
