Why is it that Armenia doesn have diplomatic relations with Turkey?
Armenia wants relations. Turkey doesn’t. Turkey in fact sealed the border, in violation of UN and/or NATO law. Turkey has 3 demands: that Armenia drop any demands for the land that turkey stole from them; that Armenia drop the demand that turkey acknowledge the ottoman empire slaughtered 1.5 million Armenian during the first genocide of the 20th century; and that Nagorno-Karabakh be “given back” to azerbaijan, although it was never a part of independent azerbaijan in the first place.
