Why is it so hard to save the rainforest?

0

Its hard to save the rainforest because its so big and it requires everyone to put their effort into it. But the problem is, most people don’t care enough because they maybe either unaware of the problems that are affecting rainforests or because they think that saving the rainforest will not do much good to benefit them. People can be selfish, and unless the problem directly affects them, (e.g if you were part of the indigenous population that may live in the rainforests and your home is being taken down in order for businesses to make money etc) then they aren’t going to be prepared to do anything about it. You’re asking a question that’s like asking ‘why can’t we stop global warming?’ or ‘why is there still poverty in the world?’. There is just too much to do and we can’t expect things to stop just like that.
