Why is it odd that the poker magazine Bluff has no information on Darvin Moon?
With just 64 players left in the World Series of Poker’s main event, winning the first prize of $8.5 million is a realistic goal for most of the people who are still holding onto chips. Day of the ME was a long one after two short days — play didn’t end till about 1 a.m. local time after starting at noon with 185 players. The buzz of the tournament is Phil Ivey, who is a force to be reckoned with no matter what kind of stack he has. But after play concluded early Tuesday, he was sitting in third place with more than 6.3 million in chips and has to be considered one of the favorites to win, even though there is a lot of poker still to be played. The chip leader neared 10 million — Darvin Moon joined a parade of unknown players at the top of the chip counts. Moon has no cashes in live tournaments that are tracked online. Not far behind Ivey is the well-known Antonio Esfandiari (5.6M), who is looking to add a second bracelet. Sources:
