Why is it men get so clingy and possessive and then say that nothing scares them?
Lots of girls look at me like I’m insane when I say this, but personally, I think girls are way stronger than guys – mentally and psychologically. Guys are supposed to be the leaders in a relationship. As often as not, they are playing it by ear even more than we are, because they’re just as clueless but society expects them to take the lead. That, when added to the pride that is universal among males, creates a situation in which a guy can never admit to weakness. He has to be the strongest, he has to be confident, he has to know what’s going on. He can’t have a weakness. If they are insecure and scared of losing a girl, you can be sure it means that they care for their girlfriend! They wouldn’t be bothered if they didn’t care, because guys are minimalists – they don’t bother with the extra mental luggage girls like to cart around.
