Why is it important to work with a company that has a current California Contractor’s license?
When you contract to have work done in your home, remember that to do any project that totals over $500, a company must have a valid Contractor’s License. The contractor is required by law to show this number on any materials they use to market their work, on contracts, etc. By using a licensed contractor, you are assured that the contractor has adequate knowledge and experience to do your job right, and they are covered by the necessary bonding, insurance and workers compensation insurance to protect you, the homeowner.
