Why is it important to use high recycled content paper?
A. To save trees! – One ton of recycled paper saves approximately six mature trees and 3.3 cubic yards of rapidly diminishing landfill space. Using recycled paper minimizes the need to use virgin trees and allows the re-use of paper that would otherwise go to landfills. Using papers with high recycled and post-consumer waste (PCW) content has a very positive impact on the environment by using less water, energy, and chemicals compared to manufacturing virgin paper.
