Why is it important to report cases of anti-social behaviour?
Some people can feel uneasy when reporting incidents to the Council, and are often worried that things may get worse if the perpetrator finds out that they have made a report. If your case is referred to the anti-social behaviour unit, the team will not take any action or speak to anyone else about the problem without agreeing this with you first and all reports are made in the strictest of confidence. Your need as a victim of anti-social behaviour is our first consideration. The team works in partnership with other agencies to gather evidence with regard to your case.
