WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO RAISE THE MINIMUM £500 SPONSORSHIP?
The Argus Appeal Brighton to Paris Challenge is one of our main fund raising events of 2010 and every penny we raise from our sponsored bike rides benefits those in need in our community. We believe the £300 registration fee, which has been subsidised by our generous supporters Legal & General is good value for money. Compared to similar Paris sponsored cycle events, the £500 minimum sponsorship each participant is asked to raise is also very low. Therefore, we think we have a winning formula which will help us achieve our fund raising goals during 2010. By registering for this ride you are making a commitment to raise a minimum of £500, if you cannot raise this amount, you are liable to forfeit your place on the ride or you may choose to make up the balance yourself. Remember to let us know if you have difficulties. There is a very good book called ‘Blood Sweat & Charity’ by Nick Stanhope (ISBN 1903070414 – published by www.eye-books.co.uk) which is aimed at anybody taking up any sort
