Why is it important to have a diversified police?
Simple, because people LE deal with are of all races and creeds and from all types of countries, many have their own customs and cultures and having officers that can relate to the minorities of the areas they patrol can allow them to have a dialog with the residents of that area not to mention the fact that if there are officers that grew up in cultured backgrounds they’re likely to be bi lingual and can interrogate and question and take police reports from non english speakers.
