Why is it important to complete the Census form?
Apart from the legal requirement and civic duty, the Census will be used to fund local public services. The under count in 2001 meant that Luton did not receive its fair share of funding during the decade. As public spending is reduced, it is important that Luton gets its fair share in future years. Completing the Census form will help achieve this.
