Why is it important to build yet another organization when other groups already have structures in place to do peace work?
Friends Peace Teams, with a twelve year history, is not a new organization. During that time we have developed effective methods and approaches to peace making and have done unique reconciliation work. Over the years we have worked in close cooperation with other groups that share our concerns such as AFSC, Christian Peacemaker Teams and Peace Brigades International. We have developed a unique organization that fills a very specific and crucial need. There is more peace work to do than any one organization can accomplish.
