Why is it important that URETEK polymer relies on polymer expansion properties instead of using hydraulically forced grout methods?
URETEK polymer expands up to 25 times the liquid volume under the concrete slab, seeking out voids and compacting weak soil strata. Using a hydraulically forced cement slurry (mud-jacking), there is little to no control (which can easily cause slab fracturing and/or overlift). URETEK polymer is not affected by harsh soil environments and is kept a consistent quality no matter what environment it is injected in. Slurry is compromised when additional ground water in soil is introduced into the mix during pumping, causing a quicker deterioration of the finished product.
