Responsible Breeders stay current and knowledgeable about their breeds and cat issues through their associations, interaction with experienced breeders, research/ reading journals, and exhibiting their cats at shows. Respected Breeders continually learn about, improve the breed they love, and assist/educate others about their breed. There are many unethical breeders selling poor quality and unhealthy Maine Coon Cats!
