Why is it important for poeple to understand how islam affects the daily lives of muslims?
Islam means “PEACE” and it also means “SUBMITTING YOUR WILL TO GOD”. If you concatenate the two meanings, it becomes – ” Peace acquired by submitting your will to GOD” All those who have been blinfolded by media and Know NOTHING about Islam but just terms like ‘Jihad’, ‘Terrorism’ etc please try to read about Islam from authentic sources. First of all, Jihad means struggle. And it means to struggle against your desires and lusts. It also means to stand for the Truth. One of the shades of the meaning is to fight in a war when there is opression against you. The whole world is on the look out for peace and salvation. You will ONLY find salvation if you follow what your Creator wants from you. And that is how islam wants Muslims to be. There is NO end to our desires and they will multiply to the extent of our moral, social and ethical degradation, which is what happened in the west. Therefore, Islam asks you to shun your vain desires and do ‘jihad’ against them.
