Why is it important for NY students to take the Global History Regents exam?”
The Global History and Geography Regents Exam is one of the Regents Examinations given three times each year in New York State. It tests the students’ knowledge of the global history course that they have taken over the last two years, starting with Ancient Civilizations and going right up to the present. It is given in January, June, and August. Most students that take it are high school sophomores and take it in June. If they fail the exam, they must take it in again in August and they must continue to re-take it until they pass because they need the exam to receive a high school diploma.
The goal of this nonprofit site is to help high school students meet the New York State Regents requirements in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. This project is supported by a federally-funded Title III Technology Literacy Challenge Grant and the Learning Technology Grant. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for improving the site.
