Why is it important for my independent pharmacy to accept FSA and other health benefit debit cards?

0

As health benefit plans continue to grow in popularity, small independent pharmacies will need to accept this form of payment to meet customer demand and avoid losing business to larger, chain pharmacy and general retail stores. Merchants who do not certify with their card processor as having an IIAS compliant system will not be able to accept these cards after January 1, 2009. The cards will simply come back declined if attempted to be processed as a form of payment.
