Why is it illegal to have neon lights outside of the car.?

It all comes down to safety issues. The more “flash/bling” you put on your car, outside, the more it is a distraction to other drivers, especially at night. What now with people talking on their cell phones, driving with drinks in their hands and so on, it comes up as a matter of safety not only for them but for you as well. All those flashing lights can make someone unawares, in the other vehicle, what is around them and is too busy paying attention at looking at you and your chariot than looking at where he/she is driving. I think if you have the money to spend you can do what you please, within reason, to have a “bling” of a car. On the matter of blue interior lights, yes, as long as the lights are not a distracting factor while you drive, then those should be OK. Enjoy and drive safe!
