There are some great English managers just like there are some great English players – it’s just that the money in the prem allows for the very best from around the world to be brought in. That is why some English managers are being overlooked.

We always have, just that it’s not just your average rubbish jobs that foreigners are stealing, it’s the top jobs in English football too. We as English have won the European Cup/Champions League a total of 11 times with 4 different teams – Liverpool with 5, Man Utd with 3, Nottingham Forest with 2 and Aston Villa with 1. Bob Paisley won 3 with Liverpool (English) Joe Fagan won 1 with Liverpool (also English) Brian Clough won 2 with Nottingham Forest (English) and Tony Barton (English) won 1 with Aston Villa. The other 3 were as said above won by Manchester United with Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson respectively in 1968, 1999 and 2008.
