Why is it different to a standard toilet block?
Standard toilet blocks require water and this is an expensive commodity. A standard urinal can use as much as 236,520 litres of fresh water per annum. Water costs are due to increase by 8% in 2008, therefore in terms of costs a single urinal can cost @ £480 per annum in water supply and discharge charges. We have all experienced toilets where toilet blocks fail to disguise or eliminate the smells of urine.
