Why is integrating NPVS and MFO so important?
No file transfer so no messy reading and writing files, and no chance for the MFO results to get out of step with the NPV results. A second advantage is in ease of use. You just get new options in your program. But the biggest reason for the integration is that it is impossible to isolate a solution of the problem of cut-off grade optimization from a that of a long term schedule built according to long term objectives, and integration ensures that the two are always dealt with simultaneously.
