Why is INNOVIC running the Next Big Thing Award?
Part of INNOVIC’s mission is to promote and support innovation. We believe that innovation is an important economic driver and that people with new ideas should be encouraged and assisted to turn them into successful businesses. The annual Next Big Thing Award is a way of getting the general public to think about innovation and how new products are developed and commercialised. It also recognises and rewards the considerable achievements of innovators and inventors who are often unacknowledged, and to assist them in acheiving business outcomes.
