Because some people (immigrants themselves) think that it is a good thing because people have more opportunities once they immigrate to another country, but people who lose jobs to immigrants think that it is a bad thing. The reason most people don’t like immigration, though, is because they think that the immigrants come and take what is not theirs, especially illegal immigrants.
