Why is Honest Charlies Weis future not decided according to athletic director?
Notre Dame Athletic Director Jack Swarbrick stated yesterday there’s no firm timetable on Charlie Weis’ future with respect to him coaching the team beyond this season. Swarbrick said, “It’s more art than science. It’s an overall impression. Every situation is different.” Give me a break. Any logical person can conclude Weis should be fired. He wasn’t qualified for the job to begin with. He’s not a leader and his team stinks under his leadership. The only reason why Weis will possibly lumber along the sidelines in South Bend next season is the 18-million dollars the administration would have to pay him to leave. Plus they’d have to pay someone else to do something Weis couldn’t do. And that’s coach. Tyrone Willingham should have been allowed to finish what he started. He couldn’t have done any worse than Weis.
