Why is Hispanic Heritage Month celebrated from September 15 through October 15?
September 15 is independence day for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. September 16 is independence day for Mexico. September 18 is independence day for Chile. June 2008 CSUMB Alumni Bookdrive: As stated on the CSUMB Alumni Association “Giving Back” page, “You can help the new Tanimura & Antle Memorial Library fill its shelves by purchasing one or more books via the Alumni Association’s Book Drive.
