Why is Hendrix College getting a football team?
During its spring 2008 meeting, the Hendrix College Board of Trustees directed the college’s administrators to begin implementing non-scholarship, Division III football at Hendrix. The decision came following much discussion and research, and was based on a report delivered by a football study committee — made up of trustees, alumni, faculty, staff and students – that outlined opinions, financial considerations, and other factors.
