Why is harry potter and the order of the phoenix rated PG-13?
Sex & Nudity EditHistory Harry and Cho do some brief, passionate kissing (which Harry later describes to Ron as wet). Violence & Gore EditHistory In the beginning of the film, dementors attack Harry and Dudley. They attempt to strangle both of them and suck out their souls. Dudley’s face turns a ghastly white, but Harry performs a magic spell and saves him. The scenes where Harry is teaching students to fight in Dumbledore’s Army, they perform sometimes violent spells on each other. Towards the end of the film, there is nonstop fantasy violence including some gore. Profanity EditHistory This film contains very few and very mild profanities. Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking EditHistory None Frightening/Intense Scenes EditHistory Voldemort and all other evil forces are incredibly terrifying and intense. unless you guys have some restriction againts maghic you should be fine..
