Why is GW Housing Programs’ Summer & Conference Housing operation important to the University?
The Summer & Conference Housing program is a vital revenue generating operation here at The George Washington University. During the Summer months, GW will welcome over 17,000 guests for short-term and long-term stays within our residence halls. The revenue collected through the Summer & Conference Housing program allows GW to offer affordable housing rates and supports many programmatic efforts directly benefiting GW students during the academic year.
