Why is GroupWise WebAccess required to synchronize GroupWise to my PDA?
Omni Mobile talks “through” the GroupWise WebAccess APIs to communicate directly with your GroupWise account. This is completely transparent to the user. WebAccess also provides the familiar interface that allows users to self-configure their synchronisation policy options: folders and address books to synchronise, number of days of calendar entries to store on the mobile device, etc. See “GroupWise Mobile PDA Access” for a summary of how Omni Mobile works with GroupWise WebAccess.
