Why is getting a babys ear pierced not considered child abuse??
I can’t really clear this up for you. I was planning on getting my daughter’s ears pierced before she was born, but after seeing what she went through getting her immunizations, I couldn’t “sacrifice” my child just for vanity reasons. I mean, the immunization at least protects her from many illnesses and here I was about to subject her to pain that wasn’t going to benifit her in anyway. So, I have changed my mind about the ear piercing and she can make that decision when she is older. I had my ears pierced when I was eight and it was a really fun experience and I want my daughter to have the same fun experience if she so chooses.
