Why is Georgia Tech changing the staff employees’ job classification and compensation system?

0

Our current system and approach is over 15 years old. Over the last decade, the internal and external landscapes of job and salary structures have dramatically changed and our current system will not meet the future needs of Georgia Tech. At the core of providing employees with meaningful career opportunities is a clear, well defined job classification and compensation system (JCCS). A well-designed system provides a solid foundation for hiring employees, enabling employees to develop career plans and providing managers with a process for recognizing and rewarding performance.
