Why is gambling wrong?
Okay, for some people, there is nothing wrong with gambling. For others, it’s like a vicious addictive drug. You don’t know until you start whether you are going to become a ‘gambling addict’ or not. As to why you only have to be 18 to see ‘nudity’ in L.V., but you must be over 21 to gamble … the ‘over 21’ used to be the ‘legal age of adulthood’ in Nevada. When the legal age of adulthood was dropped to 18, the ‘powers that be’ in Nevada realized that the ‘age between 18-21 makes a ‘big difference’ in responsibility … so they kept the ‘legal age of adulthood for gambling’ at 21. Your paragraph about ‘most things in life being a gamble’ shows me that you are still ‘a child’ about the ‘idea of gambling.’ When you start a business, you ‘invest’ … but you also MUST WORK, sometimes for many years, and you EARN your payoff if the ‘investment’ pays off.
