Why is Ft. Campbell and the 101st thought to be only in Kentucky?
Who thinks that? I think that most people give very little thought to Ft.Campbell at all; when it is thought of, I think few of the thinkers give much thought to where it is; I do think that the thinkers that give thought to the locale do think it is in only one place. It’s hard to think about something that can be in two places at once. Or are you being Shakespearean or Appalachian? Only in Kentucky is Ft Campbell thought to be. That is, only Kentuckians believe Ft. Campbell exists. Ft Campbell is considered to be in Kentucky because that’s where the Headquarters are, as well as the main post office making that the official address, most of the housing is in Kentucky even if most of the fort is in Tennessee. (Ft Bliss is considered to be in Texas, but most of it is in New Mexico.) But the main reason is because Fort Campbell, Kentucky is the official designation. I ain’t gonna argue, only drunken sailors argue with the Airborne. I’m just glad it became a fort, it used to be Camp Campb
