Why is food an drink so expensive in Scandinavia?(Sweden, Norway ect.)?
I don’t think it’s because it’s imported. Swedish food is often more expensive than imported food in Sweden. If you’re referring to eating out, it might just be that there are less people eating out here on a every day basis. It could also be that you don’t have any sales taxes on food in your country. There is a 12% sales tax on food in Sweden. It’s even more on most other goods though (25%).
