Why is First lady Jane Beshear involved in putting on the Kentucky Green Team Online Film Festival?
As Kentucky’s First Family, Governor and Mrs. Beshear take their role as Kentucky’s leaders seriously, and are doing so by taking simple steps at the Governor’s Mansion to help reduce their impact on the environment. The First Lady sees the Film Festival as a fun, educational way to promote conservation across Kentucky by involving everyone, especially the youngest generation of Kentuckians.
