Why is Fire Service best suited to be under the Interior Ministry?
Shouldn’t be It should be under a the Defense Ministry. as we have seen the fire service is now the first to respond to a internal attack, and should be funded and trained as such I am a fireman on long Island in NY and our politician keep saying we are ready, but as a 22 year member the only training in terrorism that I have received was a B.S. course on air dispensed threats and for the most part they told us to keep our distance from the victims. We are not ready and the funding from the govt is being spent on foolish things, and funneled away from NY.
