Why is fifa 08 only on xbox 360 but not on xbox?
The reason is because the original Xbox system is no longer sold in stores or manufactured by Microsoft. It’s been about a year now, actually. Therefore EA Sports can’t feasibly justify producing a game for a system that no longer exists in the industry, at least from a cost-effective viewpoint. No one can buy the system, so their fan-base can’t grow or increase the company’s profits, so they focus their efforts on the new systems that will only increase in popularity and numbers as time goes on. And “most” people that had the original Xbox have long moved on to 360, Wii or PS3. It’s just the nature of the industry. In 6 years you’ll have to buy the next new system if you want to play Fifa 2012. Sorry. But I know you’ll love your Xbox 360 when you finally get one and most of your old Xbox games still work on it. So you get the best of both worlds.
