Why is Felix Hernandez call King Felix?
It’s just talking about his overwhelming dominance on the mound at times. He does get a lot of strikeouts in a game and does pretty well in his outings. He is playing the Yankees today which will expose him a little, so today’s game is a bad indicator of why they call him King Felix. When he is on his game, he can be unhittable at times. His career record is not all that impressive, but look at the team he’s playing for. Ever since the A-Rod days, they have never been spectacular to watch. Hernandez is a by-product of what happens when great pitching goes to an average team.
