Why is Federation planning a CCRC?
The idea for a CCRC originated from the Federations desire to monetize available land on the Federation campus, thereby creating a revenue source for other aspects of Federations mission. Once stabilized, the CCRC can generate lease payments and other operational cash transfers to Federation out of projected annual cash flow ranging from approximately $2 million to $6 million. The CCRC also offers Federation additional benefits that are important to consider: 1) provides long-term housing and care for Federations constituents, 2) provides a service to the local Jewish community, and 3) integrates well with Federations other existing services.
